The caste system unfortunately is still alive in India and when recently a woman belonging to one of the lowest caste in India, the Dalits was refused to dig water from their well, his husband decided to take matters into his own hands.
The man from the Kalembeshwar village decided to dig a well in his own village despite no support from his fellows or other villagers.
The man would go on digging for the well daily for 6 hours. He would wake up early and would dig for two hours and would dig for additional four hours after reaching home from work.
It took him 40 days to completely dig the well and after 40 days, he himself was surprised to see ground water.
